CHAPEL COURT BUILDING SECURITY
February 18th, 2010 by Michael J -There have been one or two instances lately of people ringing the front door intercom indiscriminately to gain admission to Chapel Court. This happened to me the other evening when there was a group of adults trying to gain access to the building. They gave a persons name, but they did not know which apartment they lived in and asked if they could be let in.
Keeping our apartments and the building secure is of benefit to us all.
We can all hopefully keep unauthorised access to a minimum by:
· Limiting the use of our personal entrance codes to only people we know and trust, (such as family)
· Only admitting visitors known to you via the intercom
· Politely challenging any person you don’t know trying to gain access via the main door as you are leaving or entering
There have been two thefts that I know about within Chapel Court.
· A parcel that was left out side an apartment door
· A large piece of furniture that was kept down in the entrance hall
I’m sure no one wants things like this to happen. This is our home and we all want to feel secure and safe living in Chapel Court. Remember that the entrance hall, stairs and corridors are all part of our home just as is your personal apartment.

Thanks Michael, i agree security should be foremost for everyone…please be vigiliant!
