Poor satellite reception

August 30th, 2010 by ads1952@hotmail.co.uk -

Just wondered if anyone else with Sky or Freesat was having poor reception on certain channels like True Moves 1 and 2 as well as True Entertainment? The breaking up of the picture started a couple of days ago.
Thanks

Hi Andrew, No-one else has complained about a poor TV reception to date but rest assured i will keep an eye on it!

Thank you Carl for replying. In fact Betty has been having picture break up on the channels as well but she is away on holiday now.
This is an old problem for me. I gave up Sky because I never had a decent service and was paying. I put in Freesat and I have had nearly 18 months OK but not now. Trouble is in bad weather the Freeview can be poor so I need the satellite as I can’t (though wish I could) have cable installed. If it is the same as last time it is the cabling from the dish. For your information it is all the channels on the 11642, 27500 2/3 transponder. I hope something can be done once and for all. Surely it is not a lot to ask for a decent TV service is it?
